The spring 2026 YWRC Book Sale will be held at the 4-H Exhibits Building of the Iowa State Fairgrounds, May 21 - 25, 2026.
We’ll have thousands of books and media items for you to browse and purchase – all for great prices and a worthy cause! With 37 categories and 425 subcategories of books represented at the sale, you're sure to find your next favorite read. Items for sale also include puzzles, games, artwork, sheet music, DVDs, and CDs.
Proceeds from the YWRC Book Sale support the local girls and young women of the Young Women's Resource Center so they may be strong, self-confident, and resilient. Because of supporters like you, they have the tools and skill sets necessary to overcome adversity, bolster their self-worth, gain key information to have healthy relationships, learn social media safety, receive critical childbirth/postpartum/parenting education, and achieve a life full of possibilities.
More Details:
- Carts will be available for use throughout the sale
- Guests are encouraged to bring their own shopping bags and/or wagons to use while shopping
- A Holding Area will be available for shoppers to utilize on Thursday, May 21st
- Payments accepted during the sale: Card, Tap to Pay, and cash. No checks will be accepted.
- People may line up outside the 4H building one hour prior to the sale start times. No items may be placed outside the building to save a place in line; they will be removed police
Admission is $20 for Thursday, May 21st only. (Children 10 and under are free)
